Process
Most of the work is preparation
Paint only looks as good as the surface under it. Every room goes in this order.
Protect
Floors, stairs and banisters sheeted and taped before anything starts.
Strip
Old wallpaper and loose paint off, back to a sound surface.
Repair
Cracks raked out and filled, gaps caulked, frames sealed.
Sand & prime
Sanded with dust extraction. Old varnish gets a shellac primer so the paint holds.
Paint
Sprayed or rolled to suit the room, edges cut in by hand.
Clear up
Sheets up, everything cleaned, and we walk through it together.

I'm Alex
I'm a painter and decorator based in Thornton Heath, working for homeowners, landlords and letting agents across South London. Before this I spent eight years as a videographer, so I notice the edges, gaps and drips most people walk past.
I come and look at the job, tell you what it needs, and give you one price. Then I turn up when I said I would and leave the place tidier than I found it.
